Corrugated Metal sheets (Iskoorit) and screws

The project is based on a cheap, ubiquitous construction material - Iskoorit. Galvanized metal sheet, originally intended for roofs. Due to its low cost, it is commonly used as a quick temporary solution in fencing off construction sites, thus serving as an aesthetic and cultural marker for overbuilding that keeps producing scarps. Ella Littwitz hammers Iskoorit sheets, transforming them into a surface - a new metallic topography, evoking the effects of industrial processes on the environment and the long-term imprint of human presence on the landscape.
